Scientific & Medical Writing

We develop original scientific and medical manuscripts of excellent quality for publication in high-ranking, international, peer-reviewed journals.

Our involvement can begin at any of several stages: study conception and design, analysis of interim results, raw data at database closure, analysis of available data and conception of the article, and writing of an already well-defined manuscript. When possible, we have strong preference for early involvement, as the sooner we join, the stronger our impact on the result.

The whole process has been designed to be frustration-free: send us your research data, draft manuscript, or any project description you might have, and we will take it from there.

We've already helped over 120 clients from more than 40 public and private institutions and we’d love to work with you too. See examples of our recent work »

Original Research Articles

We find that often our clients are swamped with other projects and everyday work, but have collected valuable data. We can help you prepare an ambitious article and even submit it to the journal.

After an initial setup conversation to understand your aims and exchange details on the project, your involvement will be as intense or as laid back as you like. See How it works below for more details on our process.

Literature Reviews

If you've been invited to submit a review on a medical topic, we'd be happy to help. Literature research, core study selection and data structure are some of our main strengths, and often, the sort of projects we enjoy the most.

We've published 20+ literature reviews to date, and would love to add yours to the list.

Study Design and Protocols

Starting a new research study is a complex process with many actors and moving parts involved. The study protocol is a critical cog among those. A mediocre protocol, will invariably result in experimental issues, doubtful conclusions and poor publications.

In working with us, you ensure that this essential part of the project is completed in a timely fashion. At the same time, you tap on our experience and expertise in both the design and development of study protocols. Along the years, we've collaborated in projects ranging from small, to large, multinational, multi-center, industry-sponsored, stage III clinical trials.

Our Process

Our native writers have a strong scientific and medical background. We can work in English, Spanish and French. Each manuscript is also edited and proofread by a native, certified, English language specialist.

In our writing, we focus on the story and flow of the paper. This results in papers that are easy to read and understand without any sacrifice in objectivity or detail. We are also strong believers of the use of visual aids and in building from the ground up with a clear message in mind. Often, we will start a project by conceptualizing and producing any necessary figures and tables, and build up from there.

How it works

  1. After we receive your manuscript, we send you a detailed proposal with milestones, document delivery dates and the submission date to the journal. Once we agree on the terms, we assign your research paper to the best suited scientific and medical writer, who starts working on it.
  2. Our scientific and medical writers focus on only one project at a time and will send you status reports and updates to inform you of your project's development. You are free to contact us at any time to review and/or modify the terms or to ask about anything else. The last version of the manuscript is then reviewed by a native English proofreader.
  3. We send you the final version of the manuscript for your review. Then, if you wish, we will take care of the publication process by sending the paper to the journal of your choice. Where necessary, we will also tailor the paper to the journal's requirements and provide a cover letter for the editor.
  4. With the data you send us, we prepare a manuscript version that is ready for publication. We create the tables and figures and the list of references. We help you choose a journal. We prepare a cover letter for the editor of the journal of your choice. We format your manuscript to the journal's requirements. We create an account and submit the manuscript to the journal for you.
  5. Once your article has been evaluated, we prepare a cover letter including the answer to the reviewers' questions or comments and apply those changes to the manuscript. Then, we submit the article once more to the journal and complete all the forms required for publication.
  6. We send you reports all along the process to inform you of your manuscript development every step of the way.
